Friday, October 8th-- Mural Interviews at the Nursing Home & Application Workshop from Kutztown

Ramire, Turquoise, and Aaron went with Bryn Mawr and Haverford students from the Mural Arts class and with muralist, Shira Walinsky, to the nursing home across the street from the mural site at 44th & Haverford to interview two residents about their life experiences.

Back at Parkway a representative from Kutztown did an application workshop. Students learned more about Kutztown and some turned in their applications on the spot. Dominique, Dorian, Crystal, & La'Nae all went to the workshop and came back very excited about Kutztown.

Upstairs in rm 318 Brenna and Nadine worked on revising Nadine's college essay and David and Luis focused on last-minute SAT tips.

Congratulations to Luis and Dominique who took the SAT the next day.
